Proofing Projects. Once Upon a Paper is not responsible for errors caught, after the proof is approved by client. Please review proofs thoroughly before approval
-
Proofs are provided to all clients for printed material. **ALL printed material requires written approval (whether written signature, text message or email) before going to print. We will not release any artwork without the "ok" from a client. Period.
-
Once you approve a proof, you are responsible for the content. Always check your proof carefully for spelling errors and content accuracy.
-
Once a job has gone to print, it is difficult to stop the presses. If your job has already printed, you are responsible for the cost - ***even if you discover an error afterwards. If the job needs to be re-printed, the client is responsible for the re-print costs.
-
If you have a deadline, make sure you give yourself plenty of time to review and approve artwork. If we do not receive the ok to print, even if the job is "perfect" - we still will NOT PRINT without your written approval. It is needed to cover both of us.
-
Again, Once Upon a Paper is NOT responsible for errors on print work *after client has given final approval to print. We are not copywriters. It breaks our heart anytime a client comes back to tell us of a small error they found AFTER a job has been printed/picked up. The proof approval is meant to avoid this situation.
-
Double check everything! When Once Upon a Paper (or any designer) sends you a proof, double check your spelling and any important information on the page. This will save you money! So look it over yourself and have as many people as you can look it over. The more eyes, the better!
