So who is this “Paper Girl”?
WELL HELLO! THAT’S ME, DEVIN.
I’m wife to the LOVE of my life, mommy to three amazing kiddos (well - young adults), designer, creative, speaker, philanthropist, cake and green bean eater, messy desk, glitter fanatic, people loving, dream catcher.
The name Paper Girl came from me being a lover of stationery since I was little girl. I often was scolded for spending all of my allowance on paper, crayons, glue, markers and stickers. Stationery has always been my thang! Lisa Frank and the Sanrio brands were my heroes. Well, maybe my "paper heroes.." but you catch my drift.

Being the witty, gotta-get-my-point-across, talkative, class clown that I was a a girl, I often found myself in trouble. I learned at an early age the effects my creative hands and love for stationery had on those around me. Anytime I found myself in trouble at home, school or on the school bus - I would draw a pretty picture with a handwritten letter. That ALWAYS did the trick!
So here we are! My brand is a representation of who I've always been and it continues on ... the little girl in me mixed with my love for people, my calling, and a whole lotta paper and ink. I am super sentimental and I love pretty papers, putting that together created Once Upon a Paper! If you know me personally, that's me to a T; creating something for the heart to make people smile. :)

Emily has been neck-deep in the arts since she got her first Crayola art set for Chirstmas. After countless sheets of paper & many dedicated years later, she traded her art set for her Adobe suite. She holds a BFA in studio arts with a concentration is Graphic Design from Western Kentucky University. Emily offers over 10 years of experience in all kinds of design. When she's not working her design magic, she spends most of time cuddled up with her daughter & husband binge watching something on Netflix.

Byron, affectionately known as "Beezy" is the only son of Once Upon a Paper's owner. He's a junior in high school and you will see him on the football field as #33 on Friday nights! Beezy enjoys playing his XBox One, hangin' with his best bud / pet Roscoe. He spends his creative time making funny Tik Tok videos - he just may be the next Youtube sensation!
